Founded in 2010 by Rafael Marquez, our goal is to provide local in depth sports analysis and information to the people of Hays County and the Austin/San Marcos metro area.
Assisted by Moses Leos and Michelle Arriaga, Txsportscast utilizes blogging and other social media (Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook) to bring our brand of sports reporting to the world wide web. We also provide sports broadcasting services as well!
We as a group have broadcast numerous San Marcos Academy football and basketball games, as well as Texas Association of Private and Parochial School (TAPPS) football playoff games using our fully mobile production studio.
Rafael Marquez heads the website and manages it’s operation and upkeep. Rafael also contributes to the website with expertise on topics such as football, baseball and Olympic style sports, such as running and swimming. Rafael handles the tech aspect of live broadcasts and provides color commentary as well.
Moses Leos handles the play-by-play responsibilities during live broadcasts and also blogs about College sports and professional football and basketball. Michelle Arriaga is the director of live broadcasts, maintaining order during the chaotic scene which is live TV/Radio.
